Just on time with the IPO, immovables concern GAGFAH S.A. appeared in a fresh look. The new corporate design system was developed by 3st kommuikation. It includes all subsidiary companies and will gradually be implemented in various kinds of applications.

At the probably most respected ranking in the german branch, manager magazin’s jury elected MorphoSys AG’s current annual report as the clear TecDAX winner of the design track – with almost 85 credits. In the total evaluation (Content, Design and Language) both MorphoSys (TecDAX) and the Pfleiderer AG (MDAX) won the 3rd place - within their respective segment. In total there were 200 competing annual reports from various segments: DAX 30, MDAX, SDAX, TecDAX and DJ STOXX 50.
Just recently MorphoSys has been awarded with a platin medal at the Vision Awards 2006, occupying the 1st place in “Biotechnology”. Considering the total of 1,900 annual reports from 16 countries this is a huge success for the MorphoSys team! The competition is organized every year by the League of American Communications Professionals (LACP), which has the goal to advance high quality communication in practice.
But it gets even better! Our annual reports have left a positive impression also at the International ARC Awards 2006: The following awards for 3st kommunikation have been announced on September 14th in New York City:
- MorphoSys AG: Gold (Interior Design), Silver (Overall: Biotec)
- Pfleiderer AG: Honors (Interior Design) and Silver (Cover: Forest Products)
- Epigenomics AG: Honors (Overall: Cancer & Disease Therapeutics)
- Schott AG: Gold (Cover: Engineered Industrial Products)
Web relaunch for MorpoSys

TecDAX listed MorphoSys AG belongs to the world’s leading biotech companies in the field of human antibodies. Since late June the company presents itself on www.morphosys.com in a fresh look.
The design with its primary colors gold and blue is distinctly related to the annual reports’ style, enriched with its own design elements. The clear and elegant site navigation ensures high accessibility for the content. Of course, modern web technologies like newsfeeds and podcasting are being used to communicate with investors and journalists in the best possible way.
In order to give MorphoSys full control over content and structure of their website, 3st developed a highly customized content management system (CMS). With this application, the users can add or edit text, images, tables and other page elements very simple at any time. “We have been searching for the ideal combination of flexibility and ease of use that is furthermore able to grow alongside our company.” says Dr. Gutjahr-Löser, Director, Head of Corporate Communications at MorphoSys AG. “With this CMS the site management is really simple and even fun!”
On the technical side the website is based on modern web standards and high accessible as well. Using a handy zoom feature one can scale the entire page layout. The semantically correct XHTML code does not only appeal to screen readers for the blind, but also to search engines like Google.

In 2006 3st kommunikation developed annual reports for three biotech-companies : MorphoSys, Epigenomics and QIAGEN. “It is always an exciting challenge for us to create design-concepts for this young and promising line of business.” said Florian Heine, managing director at 3st kommunikation. Fresh Design for Appel Feinkost

More than 100 years ago, Appel Feinkost established the german term “Feinkost” (delicatessen). In a comprehensive re-branding, 3st kommunikation created a new face for Appel.
The company’s products (fish, flavoured sauce and fine ingredients) let every gourmet fall in love. In order to be recognized as a well-defined and friendly brand by its customers, business clients and partners, our branding team optimized and completed the whole brand appearance by defining new colours, formats, typography and image concepts. The relaunch involves stationary, packaging, broschures, booth design, fleet and guidance systems.
Online project portal for annual reports

Save money and time with our online project portal. It was specifically developed for the production of annual reports and to simplify the project management. By serving as the central storage place for texts, layouts, corrections and time- and page-schedules it connects all project partners and thus allows all parties to have an overview at all times. Word documents are transformed into XML files. These files can then be imported into layout programs (for the printed report) and into data-bases (for the HTML report).
Corporate Design for Heraeus

The appearance for the international precious metals and technology group Heraeus was extensively revised by 3st kommunikation and globally relaunched at the beginning of the year. All applications in the different manuals were recorded by the CD-Updates. The Heraeus Corporate Design Center (CDC) was developed by 3st and it is the central online-platform that puts all guidelines, templates, best practice examples and a CD-newsletter at the user’s disposal. More guidelines and a picture manual are in development at this time.
