The city of Mainz wants to establish itself internationally in the future as a site for life sciences and biotechnology. The ZBM Standortentwicklungsgesellschaft Mainz GmbH pursues this mission with the project biomindz. 3st provided the naming, the branding, the website and helped to bring the young brand to life.

The name combines the field of biotechnology with the city of Mainz as a location for science – at the same time it refers to the smart minds that will fill the project with life.

Journalistic imagery, memorable shapes, and a puristic design connect people and technology. At the same time, the brand generates autonomy in the competitive environment.

Glowing colors and a dynamic key visual cause the branding to vibrate and attract attention. The typography that was specially designed for biomindz builds a bridge to the new logo and serves as a striking brand ambassador.

The centerpiece of the new website is the interactive map that provides interested companies, citizens, and potential investors with a precise insight of plans for the future and location advantages.
